PA Resilience During the Pandemic: Take the NCCPA COVID-19 Survey
At the start of the new year, few could have predicted the events that would unfold over the past seven months. The coronavirus pandemic has put unprecedented strain on PAs and other health care providers, often requiring their best, when things seemingly couldn’t get any worse. While COVID-19 has undoubtedly challenged everyone, your individual stories are unique, and NCCPA invites you to share yours and information about how you’ve adapted in its upcoming COVID-19 survey.
On Tuesday, August 4, you will receive an email from “[email protected]” with a link to the survey, which seeks to gather information regarding how PAs have adapted to the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Information related to potential clinical employment changes (switching to a different specialty or practice setting); practice changes (adopting and increasing use of telemedicine technologies, workload), experiences with obtaining CME, perceptions of resilience/adaptability/teamwork and your outlook on the present and future of the PA profession will also be sought.
The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
The survey will be sent to all 139,000 Certified PAs, and everyone is encouraged to complete the survey to provide a full picture of how PAs responded to this moment.
